EXECUTIONS

Thanks to Art-Ice’s self-lubricating technology, it is unnecessary to apply a lubricant to the plastic skating floor.
Advantages of this are:

  • The skate floor does not have to be cleared to apply a lubricant
  • Users do not get in contact with a residue during falls
  • Art-Ice are modified polyethylene press plates

Products

Art-Ice offers various products that perfectly match your requirements. A suitable version is available for every application in order to match the activities of the user as closely as possible.

Assembly

The Art-Ice skate floor consists of modified UHMPE sheets. Each main element is 1 x 2 meters and has a thickness of 20, 15, or 10 mm.

If the surface is even and firm, assembly and disassembly of Art-Ice is possible everywhere. Each main element is 1 x 2 meters and assembly and lifting can be done with two persons. The elements are seamlessly connected to each other by a perfected dovetail system. Moreover, the floor occupies only 1 x 2 meters of floor space.

Maintenance

The Art-Ice ice rink is the only real self-lubricating dry skate floor. This means that the landlord or user does not have to do anything to create sliding properties! Periodically the skate floor of Art-Ice has to be cleaned with a brush sweeper, depending on the intensity of the contamination. Maintenance is something that must be done regularly.
